Take your shoes off.

For goodness sakes when your visiting homes with your realtor take your shoes off. If you cannot remove your shoes buy some little shoe slippers that you can easily slip on and off before and after visits over your footwear. Follow your realtors lead. If he or she removes their footwear for the visit do the same. In some cases the property is in disarray and obviously it would not be a wise or prudent idea to remove your footwear. When you don't remove your footwear the realtor hears about it from the vendor. Especially if Mr. and Mrs. Clean live in the house. If for one moment you believe they would not notice, you are quite mistaken. If for some health reasons you cannot remove your footwear then ask your realtor to get special permission from the vendor before the visit. Never forget that old fashion common sense and good manners could lead to more friendly negotiations and possible acquisition. If your feet smell...walk five paces back. :)
